Ethan Green Sports Therapy

1. About the Business

Ethan Green Sports Therapy is a sole trader operating in England & Wales.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided, including:

  • Online Sports Therapy Coaching

  • In-Person Mobile Sports Therapy

By booking or purchasing any service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.

2. General Terms (Applies to All Services)

2.1 Scope of Practice

Services provided are for musculoskeletal support, injury assessment, sports massage and exercise rehabilitation.

Services do not constitute medical diagnosis, medical treatment, or emergency care.

Clients experiencing severe pain, neurological symptoms, or medical emergencies should seek appropriate medical assistance.

2.2 Client Responsibility

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete health information

  • Disclose all relevant medical conditions, injuries and medications

  • Inform the therapist of any change in symptoms

  • Follow exercise guidance within personal limits

Failure to disclose relevant medical information may result in treatment being declined or discontinued.

2.3 Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service

Ethan Green Sports Therapy reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if:

  • Treatment is deemed clinically inappropriate

  • There is non-compliance with professional advice

  • The environment is unsafe (for mobile sessions)

  • The client appears intoxicated

  • Communication is abusive or inappropriate

  • Services cannot continue due to operational reasons

Where services are discontinued, any unused portion will be handled fairly and reasonably.

2.4 Limitation of Liability

Participation in exercise and manual therapy carries inherent risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Liability is limited to the total amount paid for the relevant service.

  • No liability is accepted for indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for any matter that cannot legally be excluded under the laws of

England & Wales.

2.5 Force Majeure

Services may be suspended or rescheduled due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, injury, technical failure, extreme weather or government restrictions.

2.6 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.

2.7 Treatment Outcomes

While every effort is made to provide safe and effective treatment, outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Response to treatment varies between individuals and Ethan Green

Sports Therapy does not guarantee specific results.

3. Online Sports Therapy Coaching

3.1 Nature of Online Coaching

Online coaching provides education, structured exercise programming, and remote support. It does not replace in-person medical assessment.

3.2 Payment

  • Payment must be made in full prior to commencement.

  • Coaching operates on a monthly subscription basis.

    Billing renews automatically each month unless cancelled prior to the next billing date.

  • Prices are listed in GBP (£) and may change at any time.

3.3 Cooling-Off Rights (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

Clients purchasing online services have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period.

However, by purchasing and requesting coaching to begin immediately, you:

  • Expressly request that services begin within the 14-day period

  • Acknowledge that if services are fully delivered within that time, you lose the right to cancel

  • Agree that if partial services are delivered, a proportionate charge may apply

3.4 Health Screening Requirement

All clients must complete health screening and consent forms before coaching continues.

If online coaching is deemed unsuitable following review, a full refund will be issued and services will not proceed.

3.5 Cancellation & Subscription Termination

  • Online consultations require 24 hours’ notice for rescheduling.

  • Failure to attend without notice counts as a completed session.

  • Subscription cancellation stops future billing only.

  • No refunds are issued for the current billing period once commenced.

  • Responsibility for cancelling rests with the client.

4. In-Person Mobile Sports Therapy Services

4.1 Nature of Service

Mobile services include:

  • Injury assessment

  • Sports massage

  • Exercise rehabilitation

Services are delivered at the client’s chosen location within agreed travel radius.

4.2 Safe Treatment Environment

Clients must provide:

  • Adequate space for safe treatment

  • Safe and reasonable access to the property

  • Suitable parking where possible

Treatment may be refused or discontinued if:

  • The environment is unsafe

  • The client appears intoxicated

  • There is threatening or inappropriate behaviour

If treatment cannot proceed due to lack of access, insufficient space, or conditions outside the therapists control, the session may be treated as a late cancellation and

the full fee may apply.

4.3 Animal Allergy Requirement

Due to medical allergies, all animals (including cats and dogs) must be secured in a separate room prior to and during treatment.

Failure to comply may result in cancellation of the session, with the full session fee payable.

4.4 Travel Fees

  • The first 5 miles from the therapist’s base location are included.

  • Travel beyond 5 miles is charged at £1 per mile.

  • Mileage is calculated using Google Maps (postcode to postcode).

  • The return journey is included in mileage calculation.

  • Travel fees will be confirmed prior to booking.

4.5 Payment (In-Person Services)

Payment is due immediately following the session.

Accepted methods:

  • Cash

  • Stripe payment link

  • Tap-to-pay via mobile device

Failure to make payment may result in cancellation of future bookings and recovery action where necessary.

4.6 Cancellation (In-Person)

  • More than 24 hours’ notice: no charge

  • Less than 24 hours’ notice: full session fee payable

  • No-show: full session fee payable

  • Therapist cancellation: reschedule or refund

4.7 Health Screening & Consent

Clients are required to complete a health screening and consent form prior to treatment. Where digital completion is not possible, this may be completed verbally

or via a paper form at the appointment before treatment begins.

Ethan Green Sports Therapy reserves the right to decline treatment if sufficient health information cannot be obtained to ensure safe practice.

5. Confidentiality & Data Protection

All client information is treated as confidential and handled in accordance with UK data protection legislation.

  • Records are stored securely using password-protected digital systems.

  • Data is retained for a minimum of 7 years following the end of services.

  • Information is not shared without consent unless required by law or safeguarding obligations.

  • Clients may request access to their data at any time.

6. Intellectual Property

All programmes, rehabilitation plans, documents and materials provided remain the intellectual property of Ethan Green Sports Therapy.

They are for personal use only and must not be copied, distributed or shared without written permission.
